Heather LeeAnn Designs is a fashionable, unique, and exclusive handmade boutique based out of Seymour, Indiana. Our items are extravagantly designed and professionally sewn with detailed finishing.
While specializing in formal wear, costumes, and pageant wear, we are now going back to our roots and producing new and exciting boutique clothing and accessories for children. No doubt, our design aesthetic tends to lean towards the vintage inspired with lots of laces and trims; you will still find a definite variety among our items. But the best part, we will design specifically for you. Unlike shopping off-the-rack; if you are in between sizes, are taller than what the standard inseam gives you, or just have an awkward fit….don’t choose a size, send your measurements and we will create it to fit just right.
Our items are now being offered in both made-to-order items that can be requested in custom sizing and fabrics, and many ready-to-ship items that are ready for you right after purchase. While not all of the items you find can be made-to-order due to supply availability, we always offer custom looks at the client’s request. Find a style you love and send us a request in your favorite theme or color. Change it up, and choose designs and customization, or even personalization to create your desired vision.

About The Designer

Hi, I’m Heather LeeAnn, the founder and designer of Heather LeeAnn Designs. The idea of becoming a full-time designer and seamstress was never in my plans as I served in the U.S. Army for 11 years straight out of high-school and received my degree in Elementary Education shortly after. However, it was the love that started with friends and family who encouraged me to pursue selling my designs online as I would create clothing for my 4 beautiful children. The gift of sewing was something I inherited from my grandmother, who was a professional seamstress. So I took that gift and ran with it.
When I began, I never expected what would happen next, as business exploded. However, truth be told, the life of a busy mom and business owner, I wanted to quit several times throughout the years. It was you, the clients who kept me in business. You would not allow me to say “no”. Once upon a time, there was even a tornado that came and destroyed my business. All my work was ripped and scattered among the nearby field over 100 yards. Talk about wanting to quit! But the fans were the ones who said “no”. It was clients and my business photographer at the time who roamed the field picking up and saving what they could. They washed the items up and had an auction to give me the funds to rebuild my business.
Fifteen years later, I still have some of my original clients sending me referrals, and that is what keeps a smile on my face. My own children are grown now, only 2 are left under the age of 18, but I still love creating those special looks for children and thinking about their own special occasions. And now, the business has turned into a family business with both my daughters working alongside me. These girls have been on the front line of the business since they would curl up near me to do their homework while I worked. They have loved getting to know our clients and your stories just as much as I have, and we can’t wait for it to continue.

Boutique children’s wear/Mommy and Me outfits: 2-3 weeks
Custom Costumes: 3-4 weeks
Children’s Over-the-top/Pageant wear/Flower girl dresses: 4-6 weeks
Bridal gowns: 10-14 weeks (add longer for intricate beading or special applique work)
Adult formal wear: 6-8 weeks (add longer if you want special beading or detailing)
